Pants! When did they get so big (again)? And what does it all mean? “The best we can do is argue.” Facts.

Swap your decks for a Le Creuset because chefs are the new DJs.
As per, this cites the cost of living crisis as the reason our priorities are so scrambled, “No one can afford a mortgage nowadays and I think that’s why we’re seeing ‘affordable’ luxury items like croissants from a hype bakery or Nocellara olives really become these new calling cards for cultural cache.”
Why rich people don’t eat any more Serena Smith for Dazed Beauty
Meanwhile, the rich are sidestepping food all together.
This is a really interesting look at how the latest luxury food trend is restriction. Fun!
I’ll be the first to admit I can get swept up in a fad, but when I stop to think about how meal replacement powders like Huel, intermittent fasting and diet culture is being sold to us right now, it all feels very ‘what’s classy if you’re rich and trashy if you’re poor’. Food for thought.
🍗 Eating:
Molly Baz’s grilled chicken
Speaking of food, this recipe is so good. It’s great for a crowd, has minimal ingredients and so far, seems pretty fool proof.
I’ve made this twice in two weeks (ty Chloe, my personal taste tester) and I’ll be making it as often as I can moving forward. The written recipe is for paying members (tempted) but if you want to cheat hmu, I took notes.
While we’re here, pls check out Molly’s house.

Dua’s cut-offs and stockings
Quick welfare check. Are we all OK after seeing Dua in denim shorts and stockings? Are we doing that again? Has anyone checked in on One Teaspoon?

A sweet rec courtesy of sweet Vicka. Tobin Low speaks to a range of couples about their origin stories, debating whether falling in love is a numbers game, or something more romantic.
Gillian Anderson on The Run Through with Vogue
I loved this interview with Gillian Anderson and lock me up, I also loved her in Scoop, the widely panned Netflix drama about Prince Andrew and Epstein.
The reviews are brilliantly scathing! One of my faves: Here is a laboriously acted and distinctly self-admiring, self-mythologising drama about the media, the royals and the media royals.
